Shalom, Everyone!
This piece of work is entitled: “Joseph, Moses and Joshua”. It is essentially a continuation of previous writings of mine about the importance of the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron as well as Jerusalem in its entirety with a focus on the Temple Mount on Mt. Moriah.
The reason for these writings is to confront and defeat the anti-Semitic onslaught of the United Nations, the present US administration as well as the Islamic world and their allies.
We Jews and some of our Christian allies stand together to defeat these enemies of God and Israel. We shall use science, archeology and common sense to defeat them. We are hoping the Israeli government(s) will make the right decisions in light of this and take the right steps to confront and defeat the untruthful arguments of the enemies. Maybe some of the enemies will wake up and become our allies. This is a momentous and fateful battle which we must and shall win.
I. I would like to begin with the eternal capital of Israel and the Jewish People – Jerusalem. The United Nations claims that there is no connection between Israel and Jerusalem. This is also the Islamic claim.
In 2007, I began my efforts for the creation of the Judeo-Christian Bible Bloc Party to run for the Knesset and give Israeli Christian voters a say in Israeli politics… in the Knesset, our Parliament. Israel has many different types of Christians living in Israel, who, to this day, have no representation in Israeli politics while Israeli Moslem citizens do have representation. It is only right and fair that all citizens who vote, pay taxes, serve in the Israeli military, and in many cases are married to Jews or are part of nuclear Jewish families should have representation.
So, I decided to meet with a representative of the Vatican, Arch-Bishop Pietro Sambi, at that time Vatican Ambassador to Israel. The purpose of the meeting was just to submit for his perusal my books, CD’s and DVD’s so that he could review them and pass them on to the Vatican for their consideration.
He told me he only had a few minutes for me, but the meeting went on for more than an hour. As an historian Ambassador Sambi became very excited with the entire discussion and promised me he would study everything I gave him. And as an historian, he probably did review everything as he promised.
Then he went on to confide in me that as was part of his job as ambassador, his role was to serve as a conduit of communication between the Vatican and all the Christian communities in Israel, the State of Israel, and of course, the Moslem communities.
He related to me how in one meeting with the Moslem leadership, the Waqf, the Moslems tried to force him into a religious debate over the question: Was there really a Temple in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount. Indeed, the Moslems had always recognized that the Temple existed, both the First and Second Temples. But after 1964, PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) revised its interpretation of history and said that there was never a Temple, that this was all a “figment of the wild Jewish imagination.”
Ambassador Sambi endeavored as best as he could not to be drawn into a theological debate with his Moslem interlocutors. His job, to the best of his understanding, as a diplomat, was to serve as a conduit to all the parties living in the Holy Land and to relay messages directly to Rome.
But the Moslems were insistent. They said to Sambi: “You are a man of God. You must answer us!”
So in a respectful manner, Ambassador Sambi said to them: “If there was never a Temple in Jerusalem, where did Jesus visit (John 10:22)? He visited the Temple on Hanukkah, or the Feast of Dedication. Where did Jesus have his Bar Mitzvah? On the Temple Mount with Gamliel (Book of Galatians). And where did he overturn the money-changers tables? At the Temple.
Where did the apostles visit so frequently? The Temple!
So if there were no Temple, then the entire New Testament was rendered invalid. The same for Christianity.
SO THE FIRST CONCLUSION IS THAT ALL CHRISTIANS MUST STAND WITH ISRAEL REGARDING THE JEWISH SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JERUSALEM AND THE TEMPLE MOUNT.
IF THE UN WRONGLY CLAIMS THERE IS NO SUCH RELATIONSHIP, THEN THE UN AND ISLAM ARE ATTACKING ALL CHRISTIANS AND THEIR FAITH. This is an attack on the faith of two billion Christians.
If that still does not convince the atheists and skeptics, they can go to the Arch of Titus in Rome and see how the Temple Candelabra was stolen from the Temple and paraded in Rome as part of the spoils of war 2,000 years ago.
By the way, Jerusalem is never mentioned once in the Koran. It is not holy for the Moslems. Its role is that it be taken away from the Jews and Christians.
- Hebron and the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs
Here again the UN has ruled that the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs is not a Jewish holy place but a Moslem one.
Now, I consider myself to be a very liberal and open-minded person. I might be willing to consider sharing the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs with the Moslems if there were some proof that Ishmael, Hagar and Esau were buried there. But they are not buried there. In fact no one knows where they are buried. Only Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Patriarchs are buried there. Only Sarah, Rebecca, and Leah, the matriarchs, are buried there.
So what happened to Ishmael, Hagar and Esau? Why are they not buried with the patriarchs and matriarchs?
Now we must employ some common sense after reading the scriptures.
We know that Abraham buried Sarah at the Tomb of the Patriarchs. We know that Abraham expelled Ishmael and Hagar from the tribe after sexual perversion and violation of his little half-brother Isaac. This explains why Sarah insisted on sending Ishmael and Hagar away, and Abraham sadly had to go along with this.
We know that after the death of Sarah, Abraham married Ketura who bore him many sons, but the one who interests us here is Midian, another half-brother to Ishmael and Isaac. God ordered Abraham to send away all the children of Ketura and the concubines to the East, where they linked up with Ishmael and his tribe. We shall see the Ishmaelites and Midianites later in the Book of Genesis with the selling of Joseph into slavery in Egypt.
So the Ishmaelites and Midianites were removed from the will of Abraham, leaving the inheritance entirely to Isaac, something which caused great rancor with the Ishmaelites and Midianites generations down all the way to our times. The Moslem world claims descendancy from Ishmael and Midian (father of the Druze today).
We know that Ishmael had twelve sons, and probably as many daughters as well though only one or two women are mentioned. Twenty four children each of which had twenty four children help to explain the 400 men who came with Esau to meet Jacob during his return to the Land of Israel.
We know that the descendants of Ishmael and Esau were men of the sword and men of the bows and arrows. They were desert brigands and probably fought many wars with other men of other tribes. My point is that in that one battle which they lost, they were never buried but their carcasses devoured by vultures. Same applies to Hagar. He who lives by the sword dies by the sword.
But Jacob took his rightful place in the Land of Israel, inheriting Isaac and Rebecca, who were buried together with Abraham and Sarah.
And when Jacob died, he insisted on being buried in the Tomb of the Patriarchs together with his parents and grandparents.
So the Tomb of the Patriarchs has nothing to do with Islam or the disinherited offspring of Abraham.
Since Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are revered by Christians and mentioned seven times in the New Testament, they share a common reverence for the Patriarchs and Matriarchs.
Again the UN is wrong and so are the Moslems who do not serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but the moon-god, war-god, and sword god and the disinherited children Ishmael and Esau.
The Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron is strictly and exclusively a holy Jewish site and by extension holy to the Christians as well.
III. The Tomb of Joseph (Nablus-Shechem).
And now I get down to the business at hand. As the proverbial rabbi always says: “Before I speak I would like to say a few words.” Now I said a few words above. Now I begin to speak!
As I referred to before, Joseph was sold into slavery by a caravan of Ishmaelites and Midianites, both descendants of Abraham. They weren’t “kissing cousins” but “killing cousins”. They knew exactly who Joseph was. He was their second cousin. But they hated Isaac, Jacob and Joseph for having received the inheritance of Abraham, and so they sold him into slavery in Egypt instead of returning him happily to the embrace of his father, Jacob.
We must also remember that Amalek, our great enemy, was part of this anti-Abrahamic gathering with whom we shall meet later in the Bible.
But all this was part of God’s plan, and Joseph became the viceroy of Egypt and literally saved that part of the world from starvation during the seven years of plague.
After he died, Joseph’s body was taken out of his tomb in Egypt by Moses and reburied in Shechem (Nablus of today – at the foot of Mt. Ebal. This will play a major role in Israel’s policies today!!!)
Now, enter the UN and the Palestinians again. They keep complaining and warning Israel about “Free access” to the religious holy sites. But Israel has been very strict about maintaining free and protected access to the holy sites.
On the other hand, in 1948 – 49 during Israel’s independence war, the Jordanians conquered the Old City, expelled the Jewish residents, promised free access to the Jewish Holy Sites and then LIED. There was no possibility for the Jews to visit the Western Wall or other places holy to the Jews. Jordanian snipers even sniped away for 18 years at Jerusalem’s Jewish residents who were not careful. They also took tombstones from our cemetery on the Mt. of Olives and used them as paving stones to the Jordan Legion’s bathrooms and latrines. Praise God, after being attacked by the Jordanians in 1967, Israel liberated Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria from the illegal Jordanian occupation and did its best to sanctify and restore that which the Jordanians had defiled.
But now, it was the Palestinians who were defiling the Tomb of Joseph in Shechem. On numerous occasions, the tomb was set on fire and desecrated. To this day, every time a new month is declared, Jewish worshippers are shot at as they come to pray at the Tomb of Joseph. Is this freedom of access to the Holy Sites by the Moslems? Why is the UN silent about this transgression?
IV. Recent Archeological Discoveries since 1967 in Judea and Samaria
Proving the Veracity of the Bible and God’s Word – the Bible.
One of the remarkable things about the Six Day War in 1967 and its aftermath is the discovering of places mentioned in the Bible but only uncovered and restored after the war.
These include Shiloh, Beth El, the giant footprints and of course, the Altar of Joshua on Mt. Ebal.
Until 1967, many atheists, apostates, New Agers and non-Judeo-Christians even disbelieved the Bible and claimed that the stories in the Bible were just myths and fantasies. Even former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, a Socialist, said as much.
But over the decades since then science and archaeology are proving the veracity of the Bible and the existence of these holy sites. An important professor, Adam Zartal, who was also raised as a Socialist in a kibbutz, discovered the giant footprints and the most important one of which was the altar of Joshua on Mt. Ebal. This is the mountain from which the blessings and curses were proclaimed by Joshua.
This proves the existence of Joshua – where there are those who claim that Joshua was just a myth. They say the same about Moses. We shall get to Moses at the end of this essay. This also proves the veracity of the Bible.
I am very proud of my son, Aaron, for being a part of the research and of the revealing of the results to the world.
So what are the Moslems up to now? They keep trying to bulldoze the site and ground the stones of the altar into road building materials. Anything that proves the Bible to be true must be destroyed by the Moslems. Outrageous.
My operative suggestion to the Israeli Government: Build a connector road from the Tomb of Joseph to Joshua’s altar on Mt. Ebal which is less than two kilometers, and then another access road from the Altar of Joshua eastward up to Elon Moreh to circumvent the Arab population and ensure access. The areas are unpopulated. There should be no opposition by the Moslems.
We must ensure free, open access to our Holy sites!!!
- Mt. Sinai – Mt. Horeb are synonymous names for the same place in Saudi Arabia.
The same that applies to Joseph and Joshua applies to Moses.

EOM, (Neo-Mustaqbal: The New Future) basically erasing the proofs of the Israelites spending 40 years in the Arabian desert and Madian Mountains in Northwestern Saudi Arabia.
We must not allow Moses to be erased from history by the Moslems and their Disneyworld type theme park.
If they want relations with Israel, the Saudis need to take this into consideration.
